Charles Richard Harper, II, M.D. is a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner (AME), certified by the Federal Aviation Administration 8-27-1997. Dr. Harper is also qualified as a Human Interventional Motivational Study (HIMS), FAA Medical Sponsor for Pilots with Alcohol and Addiction issues.
Dr. Harper currently holds a medical license from the State of Georgia, issued 4-6-1989 to present.

Research Focus
Dr. Harper's research and scholarly activity are in the area of nutrition and management of dyslipidemia. Dr. Harper received 2 EMCF grants, resulting in 3 publications and has published reviews in several medical journals including: The Journal of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Harper has also contributed chapters in several medicine and cardiology textbooks.

As a dedication to Dr. C. Richard Harper, his list of achievements, Honors, and Awards are maintained here, as a constant reminder of the humility and dedication to purpose that Dr. Harper epitomised throughout his life.
Dr. Harper was the President and founder of Aeromedical from it's founding to his passing in January 2018. The practice is limited to aviation and pilots.
C. Richard Harper, Senior, M.D. was a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner (AME), certified and appointed by the Federal Aviation Administration since 1969. Dr. Harper was also a Human Interventional Motivational Study (HIMS) qualified FAA Medical Sponsor for Pilots with Special Issuance, Alcohol and Addiction issues.
Dr. Harper's other professional experiences have included: being Vice President of Medical Services at Harvey Watt & Company, Medical Director of General Dynamics Land Systems division, Vice President of Medical Services at United Airlines, Chief Accident Investigation Branch for Federal Aviation Administration and General Medicine Physician, Private Practice.
Dr. Harper received his Doctor of Medicine at Ohio State University College of Medicine.
He completed his post graduate training at the United States Naval School of Aviation Medicine; Pensacola, Florida and United Airlines Flight Training Center.
Dr. Harper was appointed Lieutenant and served as a United States Naval Flight Surgeon in the US NAVY and was stationed at Cubi Point, Subic Bay, Philippine Islands.
